Camaraderie, spirit, discipline, resilience and teamwork, are just a few words that come to mind when I think of the game of rugby. At WGPS the pupils participate in this amazing sport as part of our games curriculum. Not only does it help prepare them for their senior school sports teams but also their lifelong motivation to keep physically active. Not many lessons allow you to wrestle one another to the ground where getting muddy is a requirement of doing so!

Enjoyment of the game is the driving force for our team of sports teachers at WGPS and to see the pupils happy, muddy faces after a rugby lesson is just great.
