Obliteration Corner inspired by Yayoi Kasoma
Posted on: 9th Feb 2023During Heritage Fortnight, pupils and staff were engaged in a whole school art project. Inspired by Yayoi Kasoma’s Obliteration Room, WGPS created an in-house 'Obliteration Corner'. Built on the stage, each class visited the installation and were invited to interact with the space, sticking dots, as they saw fit. It was interesting to see how different personalities approached adding their dots to the installation. The enthusiasm of the children was infectious and will be in our memories for a long time to come.
