Well done to the budding Years 5 & 6 scientists who were invited to take part in a special science event at Brentwood School. We are very grateful to both Brentwood and Mrs Beer for giving up their time last Saturday to run this event. The children did brilliantly; having lots of fun and enjoying the high level of challenge. The aim was to encourage pupils to embark on a project based on the theme ‘superpowers’. We had 8 entries, with a variety of experiments on the weather, lasers, robots, generating electricity (from vinegar!), magnofoam and magnetic powers. The experiments were original and well thought out. The girls all impressed the judges and one walked away with one of the prizes
