On Wednesday 12th October 2022, as part of Black History Month, the children enjoyed a Caribbean menu of food.  The hall was decorated with flags, Caribbean symbols and Mrs Andrews was our resident DJ in playing popular calypso music.  Our new chef Nigel showed what a magician he is with his spices in producing succulent jerk chicken and vegetarian salads, spicy ginger cake plus some tasty smoothies.  This food celebration supports the investigative work the children have been undertaking to learn about the Caribbean and Caribbean diaspora, the often named 'Windrush generation.'
