Super Scientists: Two Fantastic Achievements for WGPS Pupils!

Our budding scientists have been making waves in competitions, showcasing their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and passion for Science!

National Science Competition Finalists

A team of WGPS pupils has excelled in the National Science Competition, progressing from the October 2024 round to the semi-finals in February 2025. Their impressive teamwork and deep scientific knowledge have earned them a place in the finals, set to take place at Oxford University in July 2025. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish them the best of luck!

Forest Science Competition Champions

Meanwhile, another WGPS team represented our school brilliantly at the Forest Science Competition. Competing against 16 other schools, they demonstrated exceptional scientific thinking and teamwork, securing a fantastic victory!

Exciting Science Room Upgrade!

There’s more exciting news on the horizon! Thanks to the incredible support of our PTA, the Science Room is set for a complete facelift over the holidays. We can’t wait to reveal the transformation - watch this space!
