E-Sports

We’re excited to announce that WGPS has entered its first e-sports competition! Our Technology Ambassadors will be battling it out on Brawl Stars, a fast-paced multiplayer game that requires strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking. E-sports, or electronic sports, has been growing rapidly across the world, becoming one of the most popular forms of competitive entertainment. From local tournaments to global championships, millions of players and spectators are tuning in to watch gamers showcase their skills. This tournament is hosted by the Cottesmore School and Daigon, a company specialising in e-sports for schools.

What’s amazing about e-sports is that it’s open to everyone: promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and digital literacy. We’re thrilled to be part of this exciting movement and can’t wait to see how our team performs over the next few weeks. We started this week with a narrow defeat to Cottesmore school!
