In the Spotlight - Y4 Assembly -Different Perspectives

Posted on: 29th Jan 2024

4M had a class assembly to retell Traditional Fairy Tales but with an alternative ending. It was the story of the Three Little Pigs, from wolf’s point of view, combined with Little Red Riding Hood. In court the wolf said he didn't attempt to blow the Pigs houses down, like in the original story he actually had a cold and was sneezing and coughing.

The wolf wanted to feel better so he could meet his old granny wolf. Wolf found out that his granny was not feeling well either so he wanted to give her presents of pjs and cupcakes which Little Red Riding Hood had at her granny's house.

By changing the ending of the story and adding our own twist, we learnt the importance of seeing different perspectives and considering different points of view.
