It was a sheer delight to take part in the Stratford & East London Festival again this year. Both of our Choirs, Jazz Band and String Orchestra performed various pieces as we competed against schools from the local area. Our children did us proud. Not only did they behave impeccably but they also performed to their absolute best. We enjoyed folk songs sung with feeling and communication, a majestic sound combined with the promise of Spring from the String Orchestra and a couple of toe tapping numbers from the Jazz Band. Making music together - what a joy and a fabulous way to spend an afternoon!
