On Wednesday 12th February WGPS attended the In2Hockey Essex Regional Hockey Championships, run by Essex County Hockey Association.  We were in a 6 team round robin tournament which included teams from Felsted, Bancroft's, Forest, Chigwell and New Hall. From the off, the team was focused and put in every effort to defend, attack and control the game. This attitude was consistent throughout the day and the team came away with 3 wins and 2 draws. We were the only team to concede zero goals and we were granted 2nd place overall. 

By winning second place it secured us a place in the Regional Finals which are happening in March. What a great achievement for the team! Well done to them all.
